Ability to create a shaping rule for content type

Postby jamaguy » Fri Dec 14, 2007 5:57 pm

I would like to see the "Applies To" tab in the shaping to expand beyond filtering for only User groups or IP groups. Being able to filter to more selections in ISA's toolbox would allow Bandwidth splitter to be much more customizable and in effect allow us to adjust quality of service to some extent within Bandwidth Splitter's familiar interface.

If I can limit media bandwidth, such as streaming audio or video, that would make me a very happy network admin.

You mean you want to apply shaping rules to specific protocols, right?
Thanks for suggestion. We understand that it would be useful. We plan to implement such functionality in one of future versions.

I saw the previous post was on 2007, and now we are into 2010... when do you think to implement this functionality?
